The purpose of the sitting mat is to keep you warm and dry when you sit outside. It is extremely lightweight (85g) and compact enough to fit in a pocket or bag when folded with the aid if a handy elasticated loop which can also be used to hang the mat. The top layer is made from a soft, lightweight cotton with a layer of polyester volume fleece in the middle and the back is 100% polyester waterproof 3.8oz Rip Stop Nylon. The top layer and the volume fleece is quilted to keep the padding in place after washing and to help it to retain its shape.  If you require a thicker padding the mat is large enough to be folded in half for extra comfort. They are made to a high standard with quilting on the top and middle layer, overlocked seams and topstitching for a neat finish.
